Main duties of the job The Post Holder will have proven post‑qualification experience in pharmaceutical QA and/or aseptic production. The day‑to‑day organisation and supervision of Pharmacy Quality Assurance services will be under the direction of the QA Lead, to include planning and prioritising workload and task allocation, supervision of QA support staff, training of pre‑registration and support staff in QA activities, facilitation of staff under direction of QA Lead to work in compliance with GMP, GDP and where appropriate GCP, working on their own initiative under the supervision of Senior, Principal and Chief Technicians, supporting the operation of Pharmacy Aseptic Services in providing weekend, late‑night and bank‑holiday service, acting as a product approver carrying out final approval checks according to SOPs on medicinal products prepared in the pharmacy aseptic unit.

Qualifications and Experience
5 GCSEs at grade C/5 or above including Maths, English and Science.
Evidence of continuous professional development (CPD).
Commitment to formal CPD (essential).
Desirable: Aseptic experience; BTEC in Pharmaceutical Science/NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services or equivalent qualification; Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
