Your future duties and responsibilities
In this role you will take the lead in analysing defining and documenting business and data requirements that underpin a major digital transformation across the public sector. Working closely with Product Owners data specialists and technical delivery teams you will ensure each solution delivers tangible value and aligns with strategic goals. You will play a key role in stakeholder engagement shaping user stories and supporting the design of practical user-centred digital services that drive long-term improvement.
Key responsibilities
Analyse & Define : Capture document and validate business and data requirements to inform solution design. Collaborate & Deliver : Work with Product Owners and Agile teams to refine JIRA user stories and support sprint delivery. Engage & Facilitate : Lead workshops interviews and feedback sessions to align stakeholders and clarify needs. Design & Validate : Translate business requirements into structured specifications and support data model analysis. Optimise & Improve : Apply Agile analysis techniques to promote continuous improvement and high-quality outcomes. Assure & Support : Contribute to peer reviews and maintain consistent traceable analysis artefacts.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
To succeed in this role youll bring a blend of analytical expertise stakeholder management skills and practical Agile experience. Youll be confident working across business and technical domains translating complex needs into actionable insights and solutions that deliver real impact.
Essential qualifications and experience
Proven experience in business and data analysis within digital transformation projects. Strong ability to elicit document and manage requirements using structured techniques. Skilled in facilitating workshops and engaging diverse stakeholder groups. Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira and Confluence. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail. Familiarity with public sector environments or large-scale digital programmes is advantageous. IC
