The Stroke Coordinator (SC) role and purpose is to provide program leadership, management, strategic direction, and financial control of the Stroke Program. The Stroke Coordinator is an active member of the Performance Improvement and Peer Review Committee. The SC is responsible for meeting all the HIPAA regulatory requirements in data submission to the appropriate entities. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards. Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN). Certification/Registration: BLS Skills in program management related to data, operations, presentations, and budgeting. Is proficient in the use of State Data Dictionary and the Registry Software. Computer Skills with basic Microsoft Office programs. Position requires prolonged standing and walking each shift.
