You will be instrumental in developing, implementing, and refining inventory control procedures, conducting meticulous cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and maintaining precise stock levels. We are committed to upholding the highest safety standards, mandating the correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensuring all processes align with safety regulations. This position requires a sharp analytical mind, exceptional organizational skills, and proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS). Responsibilities include reconciling physical counts with system data, identifying root causes of variances, monitoring inventory aging, and supporting the integration of new inventory technologies. Collaboration with receiving, shipping, and operations teams is key to ensuring a seamless flow of goods. While the primary focus is data management, occasional lifting of up to 30 pounds may be required. The ideal candidate is proactive, possesses strong problem-solving abilities, and thrives in a detail-oriented environment. Responsibilities:
- Execute and manage regular cycle counting and full physical inventory procedures.
- Investigate and resolve all inventory variances and discrepancies promptly.
- Maintain the integrity and accuracy of inventory data within the WMS.
- Monitor stock levels, identify potential shortages or overages, and report accordingly.
- Develop and enforce robust inventory control policies and best practices.
- Ensure strict adherence to all safety protocols and proper usage of PPE.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to streamline inventory management processes.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Assist with receiving, put-away, and picking operations as needed.
- Perform tasks requiring moderate physical dexterity, including occasional lifting.
