We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead our team in Tampa, Florida. This role is critical to overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, and maintaining a high standard of productivity and safety . The Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for managing staff, optimizing workflows, and implementing best practices in logistics and inventory management. You will play a key role in training and mentoring warehouse associates, ensuring they understand and follow all operational procedures and safety regulations. This position requires strong leadership skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a deep understanding of warehouse management systems and principles. The ability to motivate a team and drive performance is essential. You will be responsible for ensuring all team members utilize the appropriate PPE and follow all established guidelines for Lifting and material handling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of warehouse staff.
- Ensure all warehouse operations are conducted efficiently and safely.
- Manage inventory levels and oversee stock rotation.
- Train new employees on warehouse procedures, safety protocols, and the use of equipment.
- Monitor workflow and productivity, implementing improvements as needed.
- Enforce company policies and procedures, particularly those related to safety and PPE usage.
- Conduct regular inspections of the warehouse to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance.
- Manage receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth logistics flow.
- Implement and maintain efficient logistics strategies.
- Oversee and manage the safe handling and Lifting of materials.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or in a similar leadership role.
- In-depth knowledge of warehouse management and logistics principles.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment operation and maintenance.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Strong understanding of workplace safety regulations and procedures.
- Ability to manage and motivate a team effectively.
- Proficiency in warehouse management software.
- Experience with inventory control and stock management.
- Must be able to enforce strict adherence to PPE requirements.
- Capable of occasional heavy Lifting and prolonged standing.
