Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move inventory.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper handling of goods.
- Transport materials to and from storage locations.
- Assist with order picking and staging for shipment.
- Conduct daily pre-operation checks on forklifts and report any issues.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
- Follow all safety guidelines and protocols.
- Wear required PPE at all times.
- Participate in inventory management activities.
- Support the overall logistics flow of the facility.
- Handle tasks that require substantial Lifting.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Current forklift certification and a clean driving record.
- Previous experience as a forklift operator in a warehouse setting.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Understanding of logistics and supply chain processes.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including significant Lifting.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Commitment to wearing PPE and maintaining a safe work environment.
