Join our logistics team in San Jose, California, as a Distribution Center Associate! We are looking for hardworking and reliable individuals to support the daily operations of our distribution center. Your responsibilities will include receiving and processing inbound shipments, accurately picking and packing orders, staging items for outgoing shipments, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. This role is fundamental to ensuring the efficient flow of goods and timely delivery to our customers. You'll be an essential part of our logistics chain, contributing to our reputation for reliability and speed. A strong commitment to safety, including the mandatory use of PPE, is paramount. Responsibilities:
- Accurately receiving, inspecting, and storing incoming inventory.
- Picking customer orders efficiently using scanners and pick lists.
- Packing orders with care to ensure product protection during transit.
- Loading and unloading delivery vehicles and trailers.
- Maintaining inventory accuracy through regular counts and system updates.
- Operating warehouse equipment safely, such as pallet jacks and forklifts (certification helpful).
- Ensuring the warehouse is clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
- Strictly adhering to all company safety policies and procedures, including mandatory PPE usage.
- Meeting individual and team performance goals.
- Collaborating with colleagues to achieve operational objectives.
- Performing tasks that require regular lifting of items up to 45 lbs.
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse or distribution center experience is beneficial.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
- Capability for lifting and moving items up to 45 lbs.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety best practices and the importance of PPE.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Team-player mentality and willingness to assist others.
- Must be able to work flexible hours and wear required PPE.
