Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse locations according to order details provided by handheld scanners or pick lists.
- Verify picked items against order information to ensure accuracy and prevent errors.
- Transport picked items to the packing or staging area.
- Assist with inventory counts and maintain stock organization as directed.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety guidelines.
- Follow all company policies, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment as needed.
- Understand and execute tasks related to efficient order fulfillment and logistics.
- Participate in team efforts to achieve departmental goals.
- Practice safe lifting techniques to prevent injury.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Proficiency in using RF scanning devices.
- Ability to read and understand order tickets and product information.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Capability for frequent lifting of up to 35 lbs.
- Understanding of warehouse safety and logistics procedures.
- A strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, both independently and as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
