We are looking for energetic and reliable Picker/Packers to join our vibrant warehouse team in Columbus, Ohio. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately picking items for customer orders and efficiently packing them for shipment. Your work is fundamental to our logistics operations and directly impacts customer satisfaction. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves based on order lists.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
- Ensure correct items and quantities are picked and packed to meet order specifications.
- Operate scanning equipment to track inventory movements.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and work area.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures, including proper lifting techniques.
- Assist with inventory checks and stock replenishment as needed.
- Identify and report any damaged products or equipment issues.
- Contribute to team goals for productivity and accuracy.
- Understand and follow all company PPE policies.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a warehouse setting is advantageous.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and walk throughout the warehouse.
- Comfortable with lifting items up to 40 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety practices.
