Your role will be pivotal in ensuring the efficient flow of materials throughout our facility, from receiving to shipping. This position involves operating forklifts to load and unload trucks, move pallets of inventory, and assist in maintaining an organized stockroom. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials.
- Load and unload products from trucks and storage areas.
- Perform daily inspections of forklifts and report any issues.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock organization.
- Ensure a clean and orderly work environment.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and wear appropriate PPE.
- Work collaboratively with other warehouse staff.
- Participate in training sessions on safety and operational procedures.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Proven experience operating a forklift.
- Valid forklift certification is mandatory.
- Ability to handle tasks requiring regular Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations in a warehouse setting.
- Familiarity with basic logistics principles.
- Good hand-eye coordination and concentration.
- Punctual and dependable.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
