Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse locations based on order sheets or system prompts.
- Utilize scanning equipment to track picked items and update inventory levels.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Stage picked orders for packing and shipping.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all housekeeping standards.
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures, including proper lifting techniques and the use of PPE.
- Assist with receiving and put-away functions as needed.
- Meet daily performance goals for picking accuracy and productivity.
- Report any stock discrepancies or equipment issues to a supervisor.
- Participate in team efforts to achieve warehouse objectives and support overall logistics flow.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a similar warehouse role is a plus.
- Ability to perform regular manual lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management.
- Willingness to work in a physically demanding environment, including standing and walking for extended periods.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to all safety guidelines.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
