We are seeking a detail-oriented Picker/Packer to join our thriving logistics center in Atlanta, Georgia. As a Picker/Packer, you will be instrumental in ensuring that customer orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently. Your primary responsibilities will involve accurately picking items from inventory, carefully packing them for shipment, and preparing orders for dispatch. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves based on order specifications.
- Carefully and efficiently pack items into appropriate shipping containers.
- Verify order accuracy before packing and shipment.
- Operate RF scanners and other warehouse technology as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all Safety procedures.
- Ensure all assigned tasks are completed in a timely manner, following company guidelines for Logistics .
- Use all required PPE , such as gloves and safety glasses, consistently.
- Previous experience as a picker or packer in a warehouse environment preferred.
- Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure.
- Physical capability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive motions.
- Comfortable with frequent Lifting of items up to 30 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure order accuracy.
- Understanding of warehouse procedures and Safety best practices.
- Must wear appropriate PPE as required by the job.
