Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts to move inventory within the warehouse, ensuring proper placement and organization.
- Load and unload trucks in a timely and safe manner.
- Conduct routine inspections of forklift equipment and maintain daily logs.
- Support inventory management activities, such as cycle counting and stock adjustments.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards, upholding all Safety standards.
- Wear all required PPE at all times while operating machinery and working in the warehouse.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks to support the overall Logistics flow.
- Previous experience as a forklift operator in a warehouse or distribution setting.
- Proficiency in operating various types of forklifts.
- Capability for regular Lifting and moving of items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and material handling best practices.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and following all operational procedures.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently when necessary.
- Must be compliant with PPE requirements.
