Summary
Do you have experience providing business analysis expertise on a data modelling and reporting project? This consulting opportunity supports a leading wealth‑management client in ensuring data reporting and analytics for a complex organisational transformation. You will translate end‑to‑end business processes into clear, validated data and reporting requirements that enable effective self‑service, interactive, and standardised reporting for the business.
Key Services
Partner with business to elicit, analyse and document business and reporting requirements aligned to customer and product journeys.
Translate high‑level needs into user stories and acceptance criteria, maintaining full traceability.
Define KPIs, metrics, and reporting outcomes that support business objectives.
Design self‑service reporting packages (aligned to hub‑and‑spoke model) that are immediately usable by the business.
Support data modelling activities through clear, structured requirements.
Produce wireframes to validate and refine reporting requirements (interactive and canned) upfront with stakeholders.
Act as a bridge between business, technology, and data/modelling teams, communicating clearly to ensure shared understanding and successful delivery.
Mandatory Requirements
Demonstrable expertise in business process mapping and business analysis with a strong understanding of data modelling.
Hands‑on experience with self‑service reporting models, in particular, the hub‑and‑spoke model for reporting.
Proven ability to create wireframes and define interactive and standard reporting requirements.
Good understanding of data, reporting, and analytics technologies and possibilities.
Excellent communicator able to effectively articulate what is possible to allow the business to frame their requirements and maximise the value of the technology investment.
Optional Requirements
Possess technical skills and prior experience in report development.
Have prior experience supporting data modelling activity.
