The opportunity This is a great opportunity for a creative and motivated Design and Technology teacher to deliver engaging, high-quality lessons and inspire students through practical, skills-based learning.
You’ll be part of a diverse and inclusive secondary setting with high expectations, a strong sense of community and a curriculum designed to support ambition, confidence and achievement. The focus is on excellent teaching, strong relationships and creating a real sense of belonging for every student.
About you You will:
Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
Deliver high-quality Design and Technology lessons across KS3 and KS4
Adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners, including SEND, pupil premium, looked‑after children and high‑attaining students
Build positive, respectful relationships with students, colleagues and families
Communicate confidently and embrace change with a flexible mindset
Value enrichment opportunities that enhance learning beyond the classroom
Be committed to developing your own practice and supporting others
Meet the Teachers’ Standards consistently, with sustained impact for students

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
