Graduate Market Data Analyst Location: Glasgow (Hybrid)

The Role We’re looking for ambitious graduates with a passion for data and financial markets to join Capco as a Market Data Analyst. You’ll be part of a collaborative team delivering data‑driven solutions to top‑tier financial services clients. This is a unique opportunity to grow your expertise in financial data and market infrastructures while developing your consultancy skills in a fast‑paced environment.
What You’ll Do
Gather validate and analyse financial market data across a range of asset classes
Collaborate with clients and internal teams to identify and solve data challenges
Support regulatory compliance initiatives through accurate market data insights
Assist in building data pipelines dashboards and reporting tools
Continuously learn and apply new technologies and industry practices
What We’re Looking For
A degree in a numerate discipline (e.g. Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Data Science)
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
Attention to detail and the ability to work with complex datasets
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
An interest in capital markets financial instruments and regulatory frameworks
Bonus Points For
Familiarity with Bloomberg Refinitiv or similar data platforms
Knowledge of data analysis tools such as Python, SQL or Excel
Understanding of MiFID II, EMIR or other financial regulations
Internship or project experience within financial services or data analytics
A proactive mindset and eagerness to learn in a consultancy environment
