• Supervises and delegates tasks to team members. Ensure smooth day-to-day operation of the department. Oversees and maintains compelling displays.




• Works with trainers to train team members in a manner that builds and sustains a high-performance team and minimizes turnover.




• Assists in training of new team members, utilizing learning checklists and training materials.




• Resolves difficult customer situations.




• Ensures all necessary breaks are given.




• Makes sure logs are completed.




• Sets and achieves the highest standards of retail execution.




• Fosters and encourages a positive environment of outstanding teamwork, mutual respect, and exceptional morale.




• Maintains awareness of customer flows and needs and directs team members as necessary to satisfy and delight customers; responds promptly to customer needs and questions.




• Selects, trains, develops, mentors, motivates, and counsels team members in a manner that sustains a high-performance team and minimizes turnover.




• Communicates and maintains team member safety and security standards.




• Provides timely, thorough, and thoughtful performance evaluations.




• Consistently communicates and models company vision and goals.

Ability to lead and develop others effectively.

Extensive knowledge of meat products and ability to communicate living conditions of animals to customers and team members.

Ability to build strong relationships with team members and motivate them to achieve their best.

Ability to make sound decisions quickly and efficiently.

Proficient mathematical skills for assessing financial performance, monitoring profitability, and managing inventory.
