Missions & Responsibilities
Act as the primary point of contact with export customers and partners for Land Communications, coordinating with portfolio and Key Account Managers.
Develop, generate and secure the Land Communications order intake pipeline and manage the agreed annual order intake budget/target.
Identify, qualify, develop and bid Thales Land Communications products and services into export military markets, focused on opportunities typically of value £20m and below.
Lead captures as appropriate and ensure capture reviews and Gate 0–3s are conducted for each opportunity.
Generate credible Price-to-Win targets to drive competitive pricing and higher win rates.
Define, manage and communicate capture and bid resources, budgets and prioritisation.
Develop and execute capture plans including win strategy, hot‑buttons, stakeholder mapping, budget and ROI.
Develop and deliver product/service marketing plans, including collateral, events, sponsorships and demos.
Build strong relationships with customers, industry partners, sister businesses, Thales GBUs, Business Lines and CBUs to identify and win opportunities.
Ensure compliance with governance, travel, sponsorship, gifts, ethics policies and UK Government export license requirements.
Maintain up‑to‑date Thales360 data.
Support setting, prioritisation, approval and management of annual Bids & Proposals and Events & Exhibitions budgets.

Security Clearance SC Clearance:
This role requires Security Clearance (SC). Existing clearance is advantageous, otherwise the successful applicant must undergo, achieve and maintain SC clearance. For guidance, visit the UKSV website. Generally, a minimum of five years UK residence is required, though in some cases three years may be accepted with additional checks.
