Über
Design parts and assemblies for various product lines (valves, hydraulic assemblies, and actuators). Generate manufacturing drawings for parts and determine manufacturing processes and specify tolerancing. Create schematic, and assembly drawings using Solidworks or AutoCAD. Develop engineering solutions and proposal documentation for RFQs and RFIs. Collaborate with the analysis team on parts or assemblies that require FEA or CFD. Mechanical design, Solidworks, fluid system Mechanical design, Solidworks, fluid system 10-15+ years of Mechanical Design experience. Knowledge and experience in industrial and machine design. Lead roles in product development and put into practice various engineering processes listed below. Understanding of different manufacturing processes: casting, machining, grinding, lapping, additive manufacturing, sheet metal fabrication etc. Proficiency in CAD modeling using SolidWorks. Proficiency in GD&T and related standards for drawing creation. Proficiency in engineering processes (e.g. DFMA, DMAIC, FMEA, tolerance stack-up analysis, etc.). Proficiency in AutoCAD for layout and schematics is a plus. Familiarity with nuclear industry standards (ASME, ANSI, API, IEEE etc.) is a plus. Familiarity with industrial hydraulics and electrical equipment is a plus. Intermediate Level This is a Permanent position based out of Brea, CA. The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $130000.00/yr.
