Senior Frontend Engineer - Belfast (Hybrid) MCS Group is working exclusively with a global financial services organisation building out their engineering team in Belfast. We're looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to help deliver business-critical platforms used across international markets.
You'll work closely with architects and principal engineers, owning the design and build of modern React/TypeScript applications. The role involves mentoring others, driving best practice, and contributing to high-quality, scalable UI development in an Agile environment.
Key experience:
Strong React, TypeScript and modern JavaScript
Building scalable, maintainable UI components
Automated testing (Cypress, Selenium or similar)
Performance optimisation and web security awareness
Ability to mentor and influence engineering standards
Bonus: Figma, Storybook, AWS, or financial services experience.
