Mid April About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Electrical QA/QC Engineer to join our dynamic team on a contract basis for a new build gas turbine power plant project located in South Killingholme, Immingham. As we enter the critical electrical install phase, your expertise in the erection of transformers, installation of switch-gear and cable installation will be pivotal to ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance. Key Responsibilities: Oversee and ensure the quality of electrical installations, including the erection of transformers and cable installations. Conduct thorough inspections and audits to verify compliance with project specifications, standards, and regulatory requirements. Develop and implement QA/QC plans and procedures specific to the electrical install phase. Identify, document, and track non-conformances, and work with the project team to resolve issues promptly. Liaise with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure QA/QC standards are met. Prepare and maintain detailed QA/QC records and reports. Participate in regular project meetings and provide QA/QC updates. Ensure all safety protocols and procedures are adhered to during electrical installations. Qualifications and Experience: Proven experience as an Electrical QA/QC Engineer, ideally within the power plant construction industry. Strong knowledge of electrical systems. Familiarity with relevant standards and regulations. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Relevant engineering degree or equivalent qualification. Valid certifications in QA/QC processes and safety standards are a plus.
