We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence & Power BI Developer to design, develop, and maintain high-quality reporting and dashboard solutions that support data-driven decision making across the organisation. Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and deliver Power BI reporting and dashboard solutions, including data gathering, modelling, visualisation, and user testing. Create and manage data transformations and dataflows using standard and advanced techniques. Apply tools and technologies such as SQL, SSIS, SSRS, Azure Data Factory, PowerShell, Python, M scripting, QlikView, Tableau and others as required. Ensure all reporting solutions comply with data governance policies, standards, and best practices. Troubleshoot data-related issues and maintain the Power BI infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Support business-wide reporting requirements by working closely with key stakeholders. Monitor performance trends and provide analysis and recommendations to support continuous improvement and strategic decision-making. Manage the publishing, scheduling, and administration of datasets and reports within the Power BI Service. Conduct data quality audits to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of all reporting outputs. About You
Qualifications and experience: BI or Data Analytics certifications or equivalent experience. Proven experience with Power BI, including DAX, data modelling, and visualisation. Strong SQL skills and experience with data cleansing and modelling. Experience working with Azure / Microsoft BI technologies (SQL Server, Data Lake, SSIS/SSAS/SSRS). Familiarity with DevOps and Agile delivery methods (Azure DevOps, CI/CD, Scrum/Kanban). Experience with other BI tools such as Qlik, Tableau or similar.
