We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Order Picker to join our dynamic logistics team in Virginia Beach, Virginia. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for accurately picking items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. This position requires a keen eye for detail, efficiency, and a strong commitment to safety protocols. You will work in a fast-paced distribution environment, ensuring that orders are picked correctly and prepared for shipment in a timely manner. Responsibilities include locating and retrieving specified products, verifying item numbers and quantities against order sheets, and reporting any discrepancies to a supervisor. You will also be responsible for maintaining an organized and clean work area, adhering to all company policies and procedures, and using warehouse equipment safely. Strong communication skills are essential, as you will interact with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in a warehouse setting and be comfortable with physical tasks. We offer a competitive hourly wage and opportunities for growth within our organization. Emphasis will be placed on your ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory at all times.
