We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Coordinator for our Charlotte, North Carolina location. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing warehouse operations, ensuring the efficient movement of goods, accurate inventory management, and strict adherence to all safety standards. The Warehouse Coordinator will oversee daily activities, coordinate with shipping and receiving departments, and maintain essential documentation for our logistics operations. You will be responsible for implementing process improvements and ensuring the team follows all operational procedures and safety regulations. This position requires excellent organizational skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Ensuring proper use of PPE and safe Lifting practices will be a core aspect of your duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and dispatch.
- Manage inventory levels, conduct cycle counts, and ensure accuracy.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, liaising with carriers and internal teams.
- Implement and enforce all company safety policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and operational data.
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflows for efficiency.
- Train and mentor warehouse staff on operational procedures and best practices.
- Ensure all personnel utilize appropriate PPE .
- Promote and enforce safe Lifting and material handling techniques.
- Support the overall strategy and execution of our logistics network.
Qualifications:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in warehouse coordination or management.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and logistics software.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- In-depth understanding of warehouse operations and inventory control.
- Familiarity with workplace safety regulations.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Commitment to ensuring the correct use of PPE .
- Ability to assist with physical tasks, including moderate to heavy Lifting .
