We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Fulfillment Associates to join our team in sunny Miami, Florida! In this fast-paced role, you will be at the forefront of ensuring customer orders are accurately picked, packed, and prepared for shipment. Your responsibilities will include using scanning devices to locate inventory, accurately selecting items for orders, carefully packing items to prevent damage during transit, and moving processed orders to the shipping area. This position is integral to our overall Logistics and customer satisfaction efforts. A strong commitment to workplace Safety is essential, and you will be required to follow all safety procedures and wear the necessary PPE . This role involves significant physical activity, including substantial Lifting (up to 50 lbs), standing for extended periods, and moving throughout the warehouse. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, possesses a strong work ethic, and enjoys being part of a team that works towards common goals. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using RF scanners and other technology.
- Inspect items for damage or defects before packing.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, selecting appropriate packaging materials.
- Label packages accurately for shipment.
- Move finished orders to the shipping department for carrier pickup.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work station and warehouse environment.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, with a strong emphasis on Safety and the correct use of PPE .
- Participate in inventory counts as needed.
- Engage in regular physical activity including bending, squatting, reaching, and consistent Lifting of packages.
- Contribute to the overall success of our order fulfillment and Logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or fulfillment center environment is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand pick lists and order information.
- Proficiency with scanning devices and basic computer skills.
- Ability to perform significant physical tasks, including frequent Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Understanding of basic Logistics and order fulfillment processes.
- Dedication to workplace Safety and proper PPE usage.
- Team player with good communication skills.
