We are seeking a diligent Picker/Packer to join our logistics team in Tampa, Florida. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately picking items for customer orders and packing them securely for shipment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders according to specifications.
- Inspect items for quality and defects before packing.
- Pack items using appropriate materials to ensure product safety during shipping.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for dispatch.
- Operate RF scanners and other warehouse equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and surrounding areas.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to meet daily targets.
- Assist with receiving and stocking duties as needed.
- Contribute to overall warehouse efficiency and logistics flow.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience as a picker/packer or in a warehouse setting is advantageous.
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods.
- Capable of lifting up to 45 pounds.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
