Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Load and unload materials and finished goods from trucks.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counting.
- Ensure all materials are properly identified, labeled, and stored.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Follow all safety regulations and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance of equipment.
- Report any damages, hazards, or operational issues to supervisors.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive work atmosphere.
- Handle tasks requiring consistent and significant lifting.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment.
- Certification to operate forklifts preferred.
- Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 75 lbs.
- Solid understanding of warehouse safety protocols and the importance of PPE.
- Good physical condition with the ability to perform strenuous tasks.
- Strong sense of responsibility and reliability.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
- Knowledge of general logistics and warehouse operations.
