We are looking for a skilled Forklift Operator to join our fast-paced distribution center in Denver, Colorado! As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for operating forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials throughout the warehouse. This role is vital for ensuring timely order fulfillment and maintaining a safe working environment. You will handle loading and unloading of trucks, transporting goods to and from storage areas, and assisting with inventory management. The ideal candidate possesses a strong safety record, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team. Maintaining proper PPE is mandatory. This position involves regular physical activity, including significant Lifting, and requires proficiency in operating various types of forklifts. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts to move, load, unload, and stack materials.
- Transport goods to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Assist in receiving and shipping processes.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance of forklifts.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Ensure correct use of required PPE.
- Participate in inventory counts and stock management.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Identify and report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards.
- Support overall warehouse and logistics operations.
- Engage in tasks requiring considerable Lifting.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid forklift operator certification/license.
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse environment.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and regulations.
- Ability to perform tasks involving significant Lifting.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding role.
- Commitment to wearing PPE consistently.
- Team player with good communication skills.
