Are you ready to pick the perfect career? Our logistics facility in Boise, Idaho, is searching for efficient and motivated Order Pickers. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. Your tasks will include reading pick lists, locating products, and preparing items for packing and shipping. This position requires speed, accuracy, and a keen understanding of warehouse operations. You will work closely with other team members to ensure that all orders are processed efficiently and correctly. Safety is paramount in our operations, and adherence to all safety guidelines, including the correct use of PPE, is mandatory. Responsibilities:
- Accurately picking customer orders based on pick lists or scanner instructions.
- Locating products efficiently within the warehouse.
- Verifying picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Preparing picked items for packing and staging.
- Operating electric pallet jacks and other picking equipment.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area.
- Adhering to all safety regulations and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Meeting established productivity and quality standards.
- Communicating any stock discrepancies or issues to supervisors.
- Assisting with other warehouse duties as needed.
- Performing tasks that involve lifting and moving products.
Qualifications:
- Previous order picking or warehouse experience is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to read and interpret pick lists and order details.
- Basic math skills for quantity verification.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
- Capability for lifting items up to 30 lbs.
- Willingness to follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE.
- Team-oriented attitude.
