We are seeking a skilled and motivated Forklift Operator to join our dynamic logistics team in Las Vegas, Nevada. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for operating forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. Your primary focus will be on ensuring efficient and safe handling of goods within our warehouse environment. This role is crucial to the smooth operation of our distribution network and requires a high level of attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of safe forklift operation and a commitment to maintaining a productive work atmosphere. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to load and unload materials and products.
- Transport materials from receiving to storage or production areas.
- Stack and arrange materials in designated areas, ensuring proper inventory management.
- Conduct daily inspections of forklift equipment to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory counts and assist with stock rotation.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed.
- Follow all instructions from supervisors and management.
- Ensure accurate record-keeping of materials moved.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator.
- Valid forklift certification is a plus.
- Ability to operate various types of forklifts.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Excellent knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
- Ability to perform heavy Lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
