Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to order tickets.
- Use scanning devices to track inventory and confirm order accuracy.
- Pack items securely for shipment, ensuring they are protected during transit.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all housekeeping standards.
- Operate material handling equipment as needed, following all safety guidelines.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as directed.
- Meet or exceed daily picking quotas while maintaining high accuracy.
- Report any damaged goods or inventory discrepancies to a supervisor immediately.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive work environment.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or order picking role is preferred but not required.
- Ability to perform manual lifting of up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Willingness to work in a physically demanding environment.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to all safety regulations.
