This isn’t your typical radiology position. At *Rheumatology & Osteoporosis Services, PC (R&O)*, we do one thing well when it comes to imaging: *DXA scans*. That’s it. No X-rays, no rotating shifts—just *focused, patient-centered bone health imaging* in a clinic that treats both patients and staff like family.
We’re looking for a *Radiologic Technologist (DXA Tech)* to join our team on *Fridays* (flexible hours between 7:45 AM–12:30 PM) and help *fill in PRN* for vacations and scheduled time off. *What You’ll Do*
* Perform *bone densitometry (DXA) scans* only—no X-ray imaging
* Prepare patients and procedure room; explain the process with warmth and clarity
* Accurately position patients and perform scans
* Analyze images, prepare reports, and send results to providers
* Maintain electronic records and manage files
* Answer phones or assist with scheduling as needed during shift
*What We’re Looking For*
* Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification or ability to obtain ARRT certification, in all practice specialty areas, within one year of hire or transfer date required
* Basic Life Support (BLS) required
* Current license in the state of Nebraska required
* 1 year or more of experience with Hologic DXA is preferred
* Bone Densitometry Certification through ARRT or ISCD (preferred but not required)
License/Certification:
* ARRT (R) Certification (Required)
* ARRT (BD) or ISCD (CBDT) Certification (Preferred)
* BLS Certification (Required upon Hire)
*Schedule & Compensation*
* *Fridays:* Flexible hours between 7:45 AM–12:30 PM
* *PRN hours available* to cover planned staff absences

* Hologic DXA: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
