Über
You will own a portfolio of existing Canon customers and be responsible for protecting, growing and deepening those relationships. This is a true account management role with a hunting element – you’ll maximise revenue and wallet share by cross‑selling and up‑selling the full Canon portfolio (hardware, software, solutions, managed services and security packs) while delivering exceptional customer experience.
Responsibilities
Achieve and exceed revenue targets through accurate pipeline management and reliable forecasting
Proactively grow existing accounts by identifying and closing cross‑sell and upsell opportunities
Build and execute strategic account plans that increase Canon’s share of wallet and broaden the portfolio sold (Solutions, Managed Print Services, Security Packs, Software etc.)
Act as the customer’s trusted partner – understanding their business challenges and positioning Canon’s value‑added propositions
Own bids and tenders within your accounts, coordinating with Bid Team, Solutions Architects and Commercial teams
Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records in Salesforce (or current CRM system) including opportunities, activities and account plans
Collaborate closely with Marketing, Presales, Service and other business units to deliver seamless customer experiences
Share best practice across the wider Canon UK & Ireland sales community
Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction (measured via NPS and surveys)
Qualifications
Proven track record in B2B account management and value‑added selling (ideally within IT hardware, software, managed services or document solutions)
Experience operating successfully in competitive markets and complex sales cycles
Strong commercial acumen with the ability to interpret data, financial reports and construct compelling business cases
Confident engaging at all levels including senior stakeholders and “C‑suite”
Excellent pipeline management and forecasting skills
Proficiency in Salesforce (or similar CRM) and Microsoft Office suite

Pay – OTE £33,677
(base salary £27,177 – commission with accelerators min £6,500, commission paid in first three months). Bonus & Commission – we provide an encouraging bonus & commission scheme that rewards you as you help us achieve our goals.
