RSE is a trusted clean water technology company focused on delivering innovative water treatment solutions across the UK. We are expanding our in‑house design team and are looking for a Process Design Engineer to join us on a permanent basis.
Overview Your key duties will include:
Initial project scoping visit and preparation of project scope reports.
Process calculations and process unit sizing.
Preparation of P&IDs and PFDs.
Preparation of Process Control Philosophies.
Working with a multidisciplinary team to develop full solutions.
Participation in design meetings, including HAZOPs.
Potentially acting as Design Lead for a limited number of projects.
Specifying temporary treatment requirements to ensure no consent breaches during construction activities.
Input into commissioning plans.
Troubleshooting operational issues.
What Do You Need?
Strong technical knowledge in the design and operation of water and wastewater projects (or similar).
Demonstrable experience in process engineering or a similar industry environment.
Process design engineering experience within municipal water/wastewater highly desirable.
Experience working in a multidisciplinary design team.
Experience at all design stages, from optioneering/FEED through to construction support and As‑Built highly desirable.
Experience of plant commissioning and/or plant operation preferable.
Working towards Chartered Engineer with a relevant professional body preferable.
Ability to work on multiple projects consecutively.
