About the Role Our client is currently seeking a talented and motivated Senior Civil Engineer to join their team, delivering outline designs and detailed specifications primarily for water and wastewater schemes.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate closely with Mechanical & Electrical Engineers and colleagues from other disciplines across the wider Water Business Unit in the UK and Ireland to deliver projects.
Undertake outline and detailed designs and specifications for civil engineering works.
Provide day‑to‑day technical input as part of a team of engineers and technicians.
Ensure design outputs are delivered in line with agreed scopes, timescales, and budgets.
Work in close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to meet project requirements and add value for the end client.
About you
A degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent), and be chartered or actively working towards chartered status with a relevant professional institution.
Proven knowledge and experience in civil design for the water sector, including infrastructure and/or non‑infrastructure projects.
The ability to work effectively across disciplines and with external stakeholders to develop innovative, tailored design solutions.
Experience delivering water and wastewater designs and specifications for Water Companies, Contractors, or related sectors.
A strong understanding of the environmental impact of engineering works and awareness of sustainable solutions, water and wastewater processes, and health and safety legislation.
