Overview Hyatt Regency Birmingham is ideally located in the heart of Birmingham’s city centre, adjacent to Symphony Hall and within walking distance of the International Convention Centre, Brindley Place and the Bullring shopping centre. The contemporary four‑star hotel features 319 spacious guest rooms and suites, 12 versatile event spaces, a modern restaurant, a pub‑style bar, and a luxurious spa with an indoor pool and fitness centre.
The Role Reporting to the Groups & Events Manager, you will manage the hotel’s day‑to‑day groups, meetings and events. Your responsibilities include building strong client relationships and ensuring clear, ongoing communication by phone, email and in person.
Responsibilities
Manage group and event enquiries from initial contact to post‑event follow‑up, ensuring prompt communication, accurate proposals and exceptional client satisfaction.
Provide friendly and knowledgeable site visits with clients.
Communicate effectively with internal operational teams to ensure seamless event execution and a consistent guest experience.
Maintain meticulous records of all bookings and event details within internal systems, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
Attend sales functions, meetings and exhibitions as required.
Stay informed on industry trends and best practices to continuously enhance event offerings and drive repeat business.
Qualifications The ideal candidate has experience in a similar role, preferably within hospitality. You are an excellent communicator with a keen eye for detail, strong sales and negotiation skills, highly organised, and passionate about planning and service excellence.
Compensation & Benefits Salary: £26,780 per annum. Benefits include:
