This position is needed to bring Twilio to organisations advancing social good – spanning across government, healthcare and education to social services and humanitarian aid. The individual hired for this role will grow and lead relationships with non‑profit and government organisations in EMEA and build consumption of our vast array of communication channels and software. You will be directly responsible for protecting and growing Twilio’s communications business across your assigned customers. This role is highly cross‑functional, and your success will depend on building deep partnerships across product management, finance, support, marketing and operations. Responsibilities
Use a systematic approach to create, maintain, and close a pipeline of new customer opportunities, within a defined list of named accounts, designed to drive relevance, reach and revenue for our platform. Take ownership of the accounts assigned, which qualify as net new (smaller spend). Work with leadership on a GTM strategy to build our non‑profit presence in a mix of markets, including Traditional Non‑Profit, Humanitarian, Higher Education, Healthcare and Credit Unions. Provide consultative support to customers to drive scale and success of their missions with Twilio products and solutions. Work jointly with strategic partners to successfully ensure customer deployments are successful, both commercially and technically, driving long‑term success. Qualify, structure, negotiate, close, and manage opportunities that will drive platform adoption, revenue, and customer acquisition. Accurately forecast business for territory through the complete sales cycle. Expand relationships with existing key customers by uncovering expansion opportunities, and driving go‑to‑market strategies. Maintain relationships with Social Impact customers by providing support, information, and guidance on the best use of Twilio products to support their community needs. Provide support for Social Impact activities through engaging with Twilio teams in partnership with key Twilio.org customers and partners. Be the face of Twilio.org to your Twilio counterparts. Be a hunting‑focused role and highly driven to build new relationships. Qualifications
8+ years of experience working in technology in a revenue‑generating role. Ability to influence and build relationships with people across all levels and organisations internally and externally. Experience owning and managing the end‑to‑end sales process, from initial prospecting, lead qualification, and opportunity development through proposal delivery, negotiation, and successful deal closure. Sales experience and a track record of personally selling and closing complex technical solutions to enterprises and software companies in excess of $100K. Experience working in the humanitarian and/or UKI public sector. Desired
Strong preference for prior experience working in net new / hunting roles with a large customer territory size 100+ customers. Ability to influence and build effective working relationships with all levels of the organisation. Experience working with partner and distributor‑style organisations. Ability to understand and decode technical conversations for non‑technical audiences. Location
This role will be remote, and based in UK. Travel
