with a team of 16, and 7-figure revenues, that recently won Tempo's Top 100 Start-up Award (2 years in a row) and Flexa's Industry Awards for Flexible SaaS and Software (2023). About You
You are a creative and self-driven designer with a genuine passion for transforming complex ideas into clear, user-friendly solutions. You take pride in delivering high-quality, original solutions that effectively balance user needs and business objectives. You thrive in a remote, collaborative environment and can move seamlessly between product discovery, UX problem-solving, and polished interface design. You’re not just a designer, you’re a structured thinker and a product-minded partner who brings clarity to ambiguity, simplifies complex workflows, and cares deeply about real user needs. You are naturally curious and eager to understand the technical and operational context behind the problems you’re solving, learning what you need about data protection so you can design with clarity and impact. You ask the right questions, validate assumptions, and challenge the status quo when needed. You communicate your design thinking with confidence, empathy, and enthusiasm. We’re open to candidates with a range of experience levels. What matters most is your design quality, ability to work independently, and alignment with how we work. About the Role
The role will initially begin as a project role, 2.5 days per week, with the intention of building a longer‑term working arrangement if there’s a strong mutual fit and continued business need. We work remotely and flexibly. You will
Design intuitive, high-quality interfaces for our SaaS platform. Use insights from product discovery and user research to map user journeys, understand workflows, and translate these into clear, well‑framed design problems. Translate complex operational, regulatory, and product concepts into elegant, user‑friendly solutions. Collaborate closely with the Head of Product, developers, and our data protection experts to define and deliver solutions. Create prototypes and polished UI, iterating based on user insights and feedback. Build and evolve our design system to ensure consistency and scalability. Contribute to and help evolve our design best practices and systems. Use and experiment with AI‑based and modern design tools to enhance speed and creativity. Communicate your design decisions clearly, incorporating feedback, and bringing others on the journey. Apply if you
We are an inclusive and diverse workplace, and we wholeheartedly welcome individuals from all backgrounds to join our team. We believe that a diverse range of thoughts, experiences, and perspectives greatly enhances our organisation and empowers us to excel together. If you don’t meet every requirement, we still encourage you to apply; your unique skills and background could be exactly what we need! Have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in product/UX/UI design. Are happy working during UK business hours (9 - 5 GMT). Are self‑motivated, thrive on working independently, and can manage your workload effectively with little oversight. Have collaborated closely with product managers and developers on embedded teams. Can simplify complex topics and design elegant workflows for operational or data-heavy products. Value simplicity, clarity, and creativity in tackling challenging product problems. Communicate design thinking clearly and ask thoughtful questions to understand context and constraints. Have experience with user research and integrating user feedback into your design process. Are comfortable running the full design lifecycle from research to final UI. Have experience with design systems and maintaining product-wide consistency. Are experienced with or excited about AI‑based design tools. Aligned with our values: Brave:
You're willing to challenge the status quo, share an unpopular opinion, and deliver and receive honest feedback. Diligent:
You make yourself accountable by default, following through on what you say you're going to do. Empathetic:
You're able to put yourself in the customers' and other team members' shoes; everyone is human, after all. Personal & Professional Growth Mindset:
You're ambitious, want to learn, grow, and become the best version of yourself. Quirky:
You don't take yourself too seriously… We know we're building a company in an 'unsexy' industry, but that doesn't mean it can’t be fun. We're called Trust “Keith” because data compliance is often associated as a “boring” and “unsexy” subject stereotypically conducted by individuals with names like “Keith” [credit to Family Guy !]. What we offer
True flexibility:
Work whenever and wherever is best for you. No clock watching, just trust and autonomy. Clear product context:
You’ll have access to leadership and guidance, product insights, and all the user context you need to design effectively. Tools you need:
We work primarily in Figma, so confidence there is key. You’ll have everything you need to do great work and the freedom to shape our design toolkit as we grow. Process maturity:
We run structured product cycles, maintain a clear roadmap, and create space for proper discovery and iteration. Room to grow:
Wow us during the initial project and this could evolve into a long‑term, high‑impact role with greater responsibility. Collaboration without bureaucracy:
Remote-friendly, supportive, transparent, and fast-moving. How to apply
