Senior IT Business Analyst – Bupa Bupa – the leading health insurer and provider – is recruiting a Senior IT Business Analyst for its London hub.
Salary & Contract From £70,000 plus benefits.
Permanent, full‑time – 37.5 hours per week.
Hybrid / London based – 2/3 days per week on site.
Role Overview The Senior IT Business Analyst will support and lead the implementation of business change projects that utilise information systems and technologies to deliver sustained improvement to the quality, performance, or efficiency of Bupa’s services. The role focusses on analysing current processes, designing future processes and driving the adoption and usage of new systems across the organisation.
Responsibilities
Ensuring ITIL service transition techniques are used to deliver successful implementation of all aspects of the service.
Collaborating with heads of services, stakeholders, system owners and technical teams to determine the financial, business and operational requirements for specific projects.
Working with the leadership team to verify the efficiency and effectiveness of existing systems and processes as part of our digital transformation journey, and developing strategies for improvement.
Designing methods to improve User Experience (UX) – covering the entire journey of acquiring and integrating new product/service, including design, usability and functionality.
Supporting testing and ensuring User Acceptance Testing is performed in alignment with business requirements.
Supporting product owners in developing roadmaps.
Providing and supporting the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders, identifying business needs, determining and carrying out necessary processes and practices, monitoring progress and results, recognising and capitalising on improvement opportunities and adapting to competing demands.
Applying a change‑management process and tools to create a strategy that supports the adoption of changes required by a project or initiative.
Key Skills & Qualifications
5+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst.
Experience in Mergers and Acquisitions.
Healthcare background preferred – hospital and secondary care.
Experience and knowledge of change‑management principles, methodologies and tools, and large‑scale organisational change efforts.
Experience in procurement activity relating to large‑scale contracts and management of external suppliers.
Excellent understanding of best‑practice business analysis methodologies, process mapping, requirements definition and management.
