Sales Director 22 Days Old
A sales management role responsible for developing and executing the commercial strategy for this industry leading UK building products manufacturer. With the focus on driving and increasing market share with national and regional house builders, most of which they already work with.
Package: £70k–£75k basic with a £10k uncapped bonus scheme. Family Bupa healthcare, management team pension, hybrid company car and 24 days holiday. Location: National role, to be Midlands / Centrally based. Products: GRP Canopy's, Dormer's, Chimney's, Bay Windows and Door Surrounds. Customers: National house builders, regional developers and housing associations.
The Role – Sales Director
Responsible for developing and executing the commercial strategy, with the focus on driving and increasing market share with national and regional house builders
Lead, coach and mentor a small team of 3 field sales representatives, and 3 office-based estimating / pre‑construction specialists
Conduct dual visits with your field sales team, and personally manage the relationship with the house builders at head office level
Strengthen relationships with purchasing, handling negotiations and laying the foundations for your team to get around the regional offices
Work closely with your internal estimating team, who go through the drawings, carry out designs and work out all the pricing; while working alongside internal stakeholders across production, finance, marketing…
The Successful Applicant – Sales Director
You will already have leadership skills and experience of managing a small team
With proven sector experience selling into house builders
You will be a skilled negotiator with a good understanding of the procurement process
While being a strategic thinker with strong relationship‑building skills
Our Client An established market‑leading UK manufacturer of GRP building products, already working with pretty much all the leading UK national house builders, with 6 sites manufacturing bespoke solutions to each house builder's specification. Part of a much larger €2 billion Group, achieving impressive sustained growth through expansion, acquisition and innovation, with more exciting growth plans on the horizon.
