This role blends traditional software engineering with cutting‑edge AI integration. You will design, develop, and deploy secure, scalable applications while integrating generative AI models into production environments. The position is open at Senior Consultant, Lead, and Expert levels. Key Responsibilities
Build secure, scalable microservices and applications using Java Spring Boot and Python. Design and maintain RESTful APIs and a microservices architecture with asynchronous processing. Deploy and manage applications on cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure. Integrate and deploy generative AI models (e.g., OpenAI, Hugging Face, LangChain) into production. Optimize LLMs for specific use cases and implement RAG pipelines. Work with embedding models, vector databases, and prompt engineering techniques. Explore multi‑modal AI systems and agentic AI frameworks. Leverage tools such as GitHub Copilot, agentic AI, and DataDog for code reviews, testing, and observability. Collaborate with platform consultants, product engineers, and digital product managers on AI solution integration. Implement best practices for model deployment, scaling, versioning, and monitoring. Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines for ingestion, processing, and feature engineering. Ensure compliance with ethical AI standards and data governance. Essential Skills
Legal right to work in the UK; no sponsorship provided. 3+ years of backend development experience with Java Spring Boot or Python. 3+ years of experience with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and asynchronous processing. 1+ year of experience working with generative AI APIs and/or open‑source models. Additional Skills Required for Lead and Expert Levels
4+ years of backend development experience with Java Spring Boot or Python. 4+ years of experience with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and asynchronous processing. 1+ year of experience with LangChain, LLM orchestration, and prompt engineering. Desirable Skills
Exposure to multi‑modal AI systems and agentic AI frameworks. Experience with MLOps workflows and cloud deployment (Azure/AI Foundry preferred). Strong problem‑solving and debugging skills. Knowledge of ethical AI practices and compliance frameworks. Familiarity with data preprocessing, token management, and embedding generation. Posting End Date
