We are seeking a Sales Executive who is commercially savvy, ambitious, and thrives in a fast‑paced, target‑driven environment. This role is key to driving revenue growth, developing new business, and managing a high‑volume sales pipeline, and is an excellent opportunity for someone with a small amount of experience who wants to develop their sales career and gain hands‑on experience within a dynamic, growing business.
Working closely with our Sales Manager, you’ll identify and convert opportunities across the art, luxury, and creative industries - helping to expand Prudence Cuming’s client base and elevate our commercial performance.
This role is based full‑time at our Mayfair studio in central London.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DELIVERABLES Business Development & Sales
Build and manage a busy, high‑quality sales pipeline, from prospecting and lead generation to closing deals.
Proactively identify new business opportunities and secure meetings through confident outreach (calls, emails, and networking).
Deliver persuasive sales pitches and presentations to senior decision‑makers, including gallery directors, collectors, brand managers, and creative agencies.
Respond to and convert inbound enquiries, preparing tailored quotes.
Manage and maintain the CRM system, ensuring all leads, activities, and client data are tracked and up to date.
Work with internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery and client satisfaction.
Support with the creation of sales and marketing materials to enhance our commercial presence in the market.
Represent Prudence Cuming at key events, fairs, and industry gatherings to build connections and generate leads.
Performance & Reporting
Consistently achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets.
Produce and present regular reports on sales performance, pipeline health, and market insights.
Analyse client behaviour and trends to support the ongoing development of our sales strategy.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a sales, business development, or client relationship role within a fast‑paced, target‑driven environment.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding KPIs and managing multiple leads simultaneously.
Strong commercial acumen with the confidence to discuss pricing, margins, and revenue opportunities.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Highly organised, with the ability to manage a demanding workload and prioritise effectively.
Energetic, self‑motivated, and resilient — thrives on achieving results.
An ability to think outside the box to develop our customer base and get in front of the right decision makers.
Experience using CRM tools and reporting on sales performance.
Interest in the art, design, or luxury sectors is desirable but not essential.

HOURS 8:30am–5:30pm Monday-Friday
SALARY Competitive, dependent on experience
