A leading organisation in the Bristol area, open to candidates working remotely, is looking to hire a Senior DevOps Engineer with strong experience of AWS, Terraform and Python. Responsibilities
Planning, implementation, and growth of AWS cloud infrastructure Managing and growing innovative, production-quality tools to solve real operational problems for our environment Investigating technical issues and assisting in fixing them so they don't come back Recommending process and architecture improvements Implementing continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines when necessary Managing and owning services and capabilities that are used to deliver client outcomes Acting as a resource for colleagues with less experience and leading the work of small project teams Technical skills
Substantial AWS knowledge Experience with Terraform automation language Strong knowledge of Python Experienced in Docker and Kubernetes Experience automating software deployments and following a continuous delivery and deployment (CI/CD) model Experience with Agile development methodologies and DevOps environments Practical knowledge of system architectures and networking Seniority level
