This role is to join a thriving practice of mechanical and electrical building services design engineers, covering a range of sectors including numerous projects in residential. You will be a mechanical design engineer at either intermediate or senior level and upon joining will become part of a highly supportive team environment where you’ll feel like a trusted, valued professional and colleague from day one. Responsibilities – Mechanical Design Engineer
Establish client brief, technical requirements, scope of works and provide information for cost plans. Design, manage and supervise projects. Produce drawings and specifications. Carry out concept design to detailed design through to tender and completion. Determine the need for and attend project progress meetings. Maintain client and design team relationships. Manage projects from inception through to completion. Experience Required
Proven experience as a mechanical design engineer within building services. Preferably degree qualified. Chartered or a desire to become chartered would be beneficial although not essential. Knowledge of British Standards. Excellent communication and written skills. Employment Type
