Multi-skilled approach to engineering with each hospital site having 1-2 Static Building Engineers – supported by small teams of Mobile Building Engineers (East and West areas)
Engineering Team are supported by a FM contract which provides a Helpdesk service. Reactive jobs are processed via a PDA to Building Engineers
Mobile Building Engineers are required to provide support across reactive and PPM; electrical, mechanical, plumbing, heating / air ventilation and building tasks for numerous Primary and Secondary Care facilities
Duties include
To ensure all teams PPM and repairs are carried out as necessary in line with Contract SLA
Required to safely operate and maintain the HVAC, HV, L8, Mechanical and Electrical systems and associated equipment on site
Maintain a good working relationship with site representatives
Responsible for reviewing Risk Assessments and Method Statements
Responsible for viewing and issuing Permits to Work
Adhere to Safe systems of work, this includes harness, lanyards, steps and tool checks
Ensuring all E-logbooks are being kept up to date
Ordering of parts for any reactive or planned works
