The Inside Sales Representative serves as a key point of contact between TMC and new clients including pharma and biotech companies that may need TMC’s services. Reporting directly to the VP, Global Business Development, this role focuses on supporting the business development team by handling initial client contact, conducting follow-ups, managing CRM data (HubSpot), and scheduling meetings. This is an opportunity to be part of a commercial team that is customer focused, supports each other, embraces and solves challenges and puts excellence at the heart of everything it does.
Responsibilities
Identify and qualify prospective clients in the pharma and biotech services sector.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers to drive loyalty and repeat business.
Promote TMC’s service offerings to prospective clients.
Follow up on leads generated through marketing campaigns, trade shows, and HubSpot to progress sales opportunities.
Meet or exceed sales quotas and objectives set by management while tracking performance metrics.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and follow-up actions in HubSpot.
Coordinate with marketing, business developments, and operational teams to ensure consistent messaging and effective sales support.
Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and client feedback to recommend strategic adjustments.
Stay up-to-date with pharmaceutical industry regulations, company policies, and service updates.
Qualifications Preferred Experience
1–3 years of inside sales or tele-sales experience, preferably in pharmaceuticals or healthcare services.
Prior experience in B2B sales, customer service, or key account management.
Familiarity with clinical terminology, drug product knowledge, or healthcare workflows.
Self-starter with entrepreneurial mindset and professional demeanour.
Target-driven and resilient, capable of handling high-volume calls and follow-ups.
Strong analytical and problem-solving acumen to develop solutions and negotiate effectively.
Commitment to ethical sales practices and compliance with healthcare regulations.
