New Business Sales Manager – Strategic Accounts
As the New Business Sales Manager for Strategic Accounts, you will report to the Director of New Business within a team of 7‑9 sales professionals. Your role will focus on driving growth for Zellis by identifying new business opportunities and improving profitability.
Key Responsibilities
Careful strategic planning and positioning in the appropriate markets.
Researching and identifying new business opportunities – new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, and ways to reach existing markets.
Generating leads and cold‑calling prospective customers.
Managing complex sales cycles by coordinating internal teams (Pre‑Sales, Value Management, Bid Management, Business Development, Marketing, and Sales Support).
Implementing value‑selling processes while leveraging knowledge of Zellis' products.
Initiating and cultivating long‑standing relationships with prospective customers and executive sponsors using consultative selling skills.
Employing effective selling strategies to position Zellis as a viable cloud partner of choice to alternative legacy HR & Payroll solutions.
Collaborating with Marketing on promotional strategies and activities.
Maintaining accurate and timely customer, pipeline, and forecast data.
Acting as a key player in driving net new business sales for Zellis.
Required Skills & Experience
Proven experience selling to C‑level from a direct, field sales position.
A strong understanding of the competitive landscape and customer needs to effectively position Zellis.
Ability to explain the benefits of an on‑demand/web services/Cloud/SaaS architecture.
Experience cultivating mutually beneficial relationships with strategic partners and alliances.
Successful experience in transformational sales.
Prior sales experience selling disruptive cloud/SaaS technology or business applications (preferably HR & Payroll).
Leadership experience in a team‑selling environment targeting large enterprise organisations.
Track record of managing complex sales cycles from start to finish with successful revenue attainment.
Ability to bring together different business units to maximise sales opportunities.
Familiarity with consultative selling methodologies.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
