Developing and nurturing sales for the business Targeting a range of specialist markets within the scientific and industrial sectors Working with some major names in the industry, you will look to prospect relevant companies and approach them in an enthusiastic and knowledgeable manner, helping them to understand the benefits of the services offered. You will need to be able to have technical conversations with key decision makers and be able to articulate specialist services in a manageable way for your audience Travel overseas to exhibitions and conferences will also play a part of the role. Requirements
You should hold a scientific degree, ideally Physics or Chemical Engineering related, however we would also consider Food Science, Biology, Biochemistry etc. This is a commercially focused role so you will need to be able to work well with others and be confident when talking over the phone and in person. Sales experience from a previous role is desired but is not mandatory. The ability to be energetic, enthusiastic and have an appetite to deliver results will be hugely important. A natural resilience and ability to persevere will also be highly useful. You will also hold a valid driver’s licence and have your own transport.
