Business Analyst - 12 month FTC The Business Analyst will be working in collaboration with business stakeholders, the IT team and external developers to evaluate how to achieve the business aims in their
Employee Benefit
proposition.
Location
- This role will be based in either London or Birmingham, hybrid working 2-3 days a week in the office.
Term
- 12 month FTC to start asap
Role and Responsibilities
Running workshop and Requirement elicitation sessions.
Evaluating and documenting business processes.
Clear and consistent documentation of requirements (BRDs, User Stories, NFRs etc).
Specification writing.
Clear communication of design and changes to business stakeholders, technical teams and management.
Engagement throughout the full SDLC.
User acceptance testing.
Build training materials.
Act as a liaison between stakeholders, users and technical teams to ensure effective adoption of any new system or process.
Identifying new opportunities for improvement.
Analysis of options to identify the best fit for the business need.
Organise and run meetings and presentations with stakeholders in all areas of the business, to gather and share information.
Input and requirement gathering for UX and CX work.
Procurement and supplier analysis.
Key Skills & Experience
Evidence of solid work experience specifically in the employee benefit arena.
Experience of a major change and transformation program.
The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.
Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations.
Competency in Microsoft applications including Visio, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Competency in using JIRA.
Excellent planning, organisational, and time management skills.
Experience in both Waterfall, Agile and mixed development environments.

Able to uncover and deal with ambiguity or conflict in stakeholder needs and expectations.
Flexibility and adaptability in approach, able to look at the strategic down to the data item level across a project.
Empathy & Emotional Intelligence: Builds trust with stakeholders at all levels (e.g., pension members, C-suite executives).
Critical Thinking: Challenges the status quo and uses frameworks like SWOT or MoSCoW to prioritise requirements.
Basic understanding of software development cycles (if working on tech projects).
Ethical Integrity: Handles sensitive data (e.g., pension member details) with discretion and compliance.
Transparently communicates limitations or risks in proposed solutions.
Proactive Learner: Stays updated on industry trends (e.g., AI-driven analytics).
