Responsibilities
Lead the viability analysis for small to medium sized projects and support larger and more complex projects delivered by our strategic partners.
Work with the business and our strategic partners to analyse and understand business problems and opportunities based on an understanding of the desired business outcomes and strategic drivers.
Define your approach and plan for your business analysis work including stakeholder engagement and outcomes of analysis activity. This will also include working with the business to gather, analyse, challenge and prioritise business requirements in relation to the business problem.
Provide oversight and assurance of analysis and solution design activity delivered by our strategic partners.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and compare the best processes or delivery methods to use, including measuring and evaluating outcomes. Helps the team to decide the best approach.
Analyse current product/services and processes, and identify and implement opportunities to optimise these. Help to evaluate and establish requirements using relevant techniques such as gap analysis.
Use quantitative and qualitative data to define outcomes and solutions.
Investigate problems and analyse options for new and existing products and services.
Provide recommendations to solutions; work with stakeholders to identify objectives, opportunities and potential benefits.
Skills and Competencies
Collaborate and communicate with sponsors and stakeholders across the organisation using a range of tools and approaches to elicit the best outcomes and level of engagement.
Can interrogate and interpret data from a range of sources, for example user research and process performance metrics, and consequently help the team to make data‑driven decisions.
Can create user flows, wireframes and map business processes which represent the current structure and future design of a product or service.
Takes an innovative mindset to problem solving. Can identify opportunities and generate ideas for continuous improvement of the delivery model, and generates insight to address unmet user needs.
Helps the team set and manage expectations.
Identify key stakeholders; manage their needs in harmony with user needs, using evidence to justify their decisions. Should understand how to handle opposing views, and combine them to reach consensus.
Comfortable working in Agile, Waterfall and hybrid projects, and understands the advantages and disadvantages of the different methodologies.
Understands the importance of adhering to Change Governance standards.
Experience
Experience working in fast paced environments using different methodologies.
Experience working in cross functional teams.
Experience contributing to, and achieving, good customer outcomes.
Experience in setting up and facilitating workshops to understand business needs, gather requirements and ensure the business and user needs continue to be met by the proposed solution.
Experience of Financial Services products and practices.
Experience of working with 3rd party partners and providers desirable but not essential.
